Ten foreign investment projects valued at more than $130 million were approved in Iran's central Isfahan Province during the first six months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21 to September 22, 2026), Trend News Agency reported, citing the Iranian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.

Nasser Yarmohammadian, Director General of the ministry's Isfahan Province office, stated that licenses were issued for foreign investors hailing from China, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Oman, and the Netherlands, as well as Iranian expatriates residing in Germany.

According to Yarmohammadian, the approved projects primarily cover cotton yarn production, a solar power plant, carpet manufacturing, steel production, clinic construction, point-of-sale (POS) terminal development, and motor oil production.

The official noted that 24 projects worth approximately $263 million in foreign investment were approved in Isfahan Province during the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2025 to March 20, 2026), which represented a 33% increase in planned foreign capital compared to the year before that.

Yarmohammadian added that foreign investment across the province's economic sectors aims to secure planned financing, facilitate technology transfer, increase production, generate employment, and support business development in domestic and international markets.
