Hong Kong's autumn electronics exhibitions attracted more than 61,000 buyers from 141 countries and regions, according to Gulf Business. The four-day gathering concluded on October 16, 2026, serving as a platform for manufacturers, robotics developers, component suppliers, and technology start-ups to connect with overseas distributors, investors, and commercial partners.

The 46th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and the 29th electronicAsia, jointly organised by HKTDC and MMI Asia, brought together over 3,200 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Organisers reported that buyers came primarily from the Chinese Mainland, India, Japan, and the United States, alongside growing attendance from markets such as Kazakhstan and Brazil.

The fair highlighted three key themes: AI and Robotics, Smart Wellness, and NEXTEntertainment. More than 120 robots were displayed, predominantly at the RoboPark zone, spanning applications in industrial operations, commercial services, logistics, healthcare, and entertainment. Chinese Mainland robotics companies showcasing technologies included UBTECH, AgiBot, and DEEP Robotics.

Participating firms reported potential orders, distributor discussions, and plans to establish overseas operations. Technology firm Xeroptix conducted discussions with more than 50 prospective clients from regions including the Middle East, Australia, Africa, and Europe, with Chief Technology Officer Dr Steve Kong projecting potential orders exceeding $1m for embodied AI systems. The HKTDC's Spring Edition of the electronics fair is scheduled to return in April.
