Sharia-compliant fintech platform mamun secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by Phaze Ventures on November 4, 2026, according to a release distributed by Media OutReach Newswire. The capital is designated to finance cross-border trade corridors linking the Gulf region and China.

Anchored across hubs in Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong SAR, mamun focuses on addressing SME liquidity shortfalls across the Greater Bay Area–Oman–UAE corridor. The company uses an AI-native underwriting system that evaluates real-time shipment contracts, logistics paperwork, and counterparty performance.

Currently, approximately 40% of the platform's cross-border trade settlements are processed through Hong Kong financial clearing rails. The company stated it will deploy the newly raised capital to expand its originate-to-distribute trade facilities and onboard additional Asian exporters.
