Dubai CommerCity and Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited have established a collaboration agreement to expand cooperation in digital commerce, innovation, and technology, Zawya reported.
The partnership follows bilateral engagements tied to the Dubai Business Forum held in Shenzhen on October 14, 2026, organized by Dubai Chambers. That event drew 854 Chinese investors and business representatives alongside a 112-member delegation from Dubai to advance trade and investment ties between the two markets.
Dubai CommerCity operates as a free zone dedicated to digital commerce, developed as a joint venture between the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Wasl Group. The zone provides specialized infrastructure, logistics facilities, and regulatory licensing for digital businesses.
Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited manages the flagship cross-boundary innovation hub located at the Lok Ma Chau Loop connecting Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The collaboration aims to foster institutional links, information sharing, and business expansion channels between Dubai and China's Greater Bay Area.
