Dubai Chambers has finalized four new bilateral cooperation agreements with major Chinese trade associations during the Dubai Business Forum – China, held in Shenzhen. The memorandums of understanding (MoUs) cover four Chinese commercial hubs: Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Chongqing, aiming to create new avenues for trade, information sharing, and cross-border commercial partnerships.

The participating organisations are the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), the China Chamber of International Commerce Shenzhen Branch, the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce, and the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, signed three agreements with representatives from Beijing, Guangzhou, and Chongqing, while Salem AlShamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, signed the agreement with the Shenzhen counterpart.

According to Lootah, Dubai Chambers is focusing on strengthening relationships with priority international markets through partnerships that help businesses identify trade and investment prospects. The overall initiative is designed to connect UAE private enterprises directly with procurement and supply chains in China's industrial clusters.

The agreement signed with the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce places particular emphasis on facilitating the exchange of information regarding international exhibitions, business meetings, trade gatherings, and other commercial events, while providing mutual support for company participation in these activities.
