DP World's Shipping Solutions AMEA announced on November 2, 2026, the launch of the China Africa Link, expanding maritime trade connectivity across China, the Gulf, and Africa.

The weekly shipping service connects Chinese export gateways—including Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nansha—directly to ports in East and Southern Africa. The port rotation includes intermediate stops at Port Klang Westport in Malaysia and Singapore, prior to reaching Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Maputo in Mozambique.

Commercial operations under the new schedule are set to commence in late November 2026, according to DP World.

The service operates as part of DP World's Connected Trade Corridors initiative, which aims to integrate port infrastructure, maritime services, and inland transport links.
