The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has highlighted key initiatives completed during Emirati Women's Month 2026, held from 28 August to 28 September under the theme 'Together, We Rise Stronger and Better', the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

To advance international commercial ties, ADBWC partnered with the General Women's Union and the UAE Embassy in Beijing to host the Chinese Women Business Leaders Networking Forum on 15 September. The bilateral session brought together 30 companies—15 from Abu Dhabi and 15 from China—to foster direct engagement, knowledge transfer, partnership formation, and mutual market access.

Domestically, the council organised the 'Under Her Shade' exhibition and panel discussions in late August with Qasr Al Hosn and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, featuring seven Emirati entrepreneurs and creatives. Additional initiatives included an Emirati Women's Day Bazaar with ADNOC Distribution hosting 11 local brands, and an exhibition in Al Ain in collaboration with Al Ain Museum and ADCCI's Al Ain branch featuring six female-owned enterprises.

The council also collaborated with startAD and Curate on 'The Emirati Concept' networking session, which drew 15 participants to explore expansion and operational strategies in the retail sector. Asma Al Fahim, Chairwoman of ADBWC, stated that the council is focused on building an integrated ecosystem supporting women entrepreneurs from enterprise creation to long-term competitiveness.
