State-owned QatarEnergy has secured a five-year, $3 billion syndicated loan from four major Chinese commercial banks. The credit facility is priced at 50 basis points over the Secured Overnight Financing Rate and is earmarked for working capital. The deal highlights continued Chinese lending across the Gulf region.
UAE conglomerate Al Habtoor Group has installed the final glass façade panel on Habtoor Tower along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The residential skyscraper is being developed in coordination with China Railway 18th Bureau Group Dubai and features 1,740 units.
Around 14 million barrels per day of crude and refined products have recently departed the Middle East, according to Vitol CEO Russell Hardy. Speaking in London, Hardy noted that these continuous flows help balance energy markets and prevent prices from escalating to $200 per barrel. He also highlighted surging shipping costs and pointed to China's domestic oil reserves as an essential market buffer earlier in the year.

The companies report over 99% OCR accuracy, with document data hosted across facilities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
