Chinese autonomous driving companies, including Baidu Apollo Go, Momenta, and WeRide, have broadened their commercial deployments across the United Arab Emirates, according to the UAE-China Chamber of Commerce.

The commercial expansion is underpinned by more than 14,500 active commercial licenses issued to Chinese enterprises across the Emirates. In addition, China is the third-largest provider of foreign direct investment into the UAE, contributing $6.3 billion toward total bilateral investment that now exceeds $15 billion.

Logistical and commercial connectivity between the two nations is maintained by UAE flag carriers operating more than 210 monthly passenger and cargo flights. The autonomous vehicle initiatives center on integrating robotaxi fleets and artificial intelligence navigation systems directly into the UAE's smart transport infrastructure.
