Dubai has become home to the first showroom outside China for Chinese brand SOUO, with local dealership N S Lootah Motors inaugurating the UAE facility in Dubai's Hor Al Anz East, according to reports by Tbreak Media citing Gulf News and Zawya.
The launch introduces the SOUO S2000 CL touring motorcycle to the local premium market. Billed by the manufacturer as the world's first production motorcycle featuring a horizontally opposed Flat-8 configuration, the 1,999cc machine produces 153.68 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, linked to an eight-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and shaft final drive.
The 427-kilogram motorcycle features a die-cast aluminium frame, Brembo brakes, electronically adjustable front suspension, a four-inch TFT screen, traction control, cruise control, and tyre-pressure monitoring. The vehicle claims a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of roughly 3.9 seconds and an electronically governed top speed of 200 km/h.
According to N S Lootah Motors General Manager Abdulla Alaraidi, the Dubai facility represents the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at broader regional distribution. Victor Zhao, CEO of GWM SOUO, stated that the brand intends to use Dubai as a regional hub to establish owner clubs, brand experience days, and riding events across target markets in the Gulf.
While the brand's UAE portal lists the S2000 touring model and S2000C cruiser as available for reservation through N S Lootah Motors, official local retail pricing in dirhams has not been published.
