The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) activated its official SWIFT Business Identifier Code, ADSEAEADXXX, on 25 September 2026, marking its formal integration into the global financial messaging network.

According to exchange authorities, the connectivity upgrade enables standardized and automated financial communications with custodians, international central securities depositories, and foreign institutional investors.

The exchange noted that this integration improves post-trade market infrastructure and expands cross-border capital access, supporting the UAE capital's strategic push to position itself as a key global financial center.

ADX indicated that the operational enhancement also establishes the groundwork for future digital market initiatives and enhanced settlement efficiency.
