Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has announced the program for Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) 2026 under the theme 'The Capital Community, Powered by Partnerships.' Scheduled to run from December 7 to 10, 2026, the event features an expanded international program comprising 75 sessions across eight stages, with dedicated international forums and bilateral dialogues specifically focusing on China. According to organizers, the sessions aim to facilitate cross-border capital flows and strengthen institutional investment partnerships between UAE and Chinese entities.
More than 300 global leaders overseeing over USD 61 trillion in assets have confirmed attendance for ADFW 2026. Confirmed event partners and participating institutions include the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, UBS, Standard Chartered, and Hanwha Finance. Along with China, ADFW will also feature dedicated sessions on South Korea, the European Union, and the United States.
In addition to Abu Dhabi's initiatives, Dubai Chambers is scheduled to host the Dubai Business Forum – China in Shenzhen on October 14, 2026, under the theme 'Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success.' The forum aims to support Chinese multinational firms utilizing Dubai as a strategic base for international expansion.
The speaker lineup for the Shenzhen forum includes senior executives from Chinese corporations including BYD, Baidu, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and ARIDGE. Alan Qi, President of Huawei Cloud Middle East and Central Asia Region, stated that Huawei Cloud works to bridge Chinese and UAE commercial ecosystems while deploying artificial intelligence for industrial transformation. Rachel Xie, General Manager of Tencent Cloud MENA, noted that Dubai functions as a central regional hub for cloud computing and digital infrastructure development.
