Abu Dhabi Health Delegation Concludes China Mission to Expand Life Sciences Ties

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has concluded a high-level healthcare delegation visit to Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing. The mission included key institutions such as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, PureHealth, ADIO, and MBZUAI. Talks focused on research, AI, robotics, precision oncology, advanced diagnostics, and clinical trials.

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), led by Undersecretary H.E. Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, has concluded an official healthcare delegation visit across Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing.

The mission brought together major Abu Dhabi entities, including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, PureHealth, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). Bilateral discussions centered on research and technology adoption across robotics and AI, precision oncology, advanced diagnostics, and clinical trials.

During the visit, Chinese healthcare and life sciences executives received an official invitation to participate in the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026, scheduled to take place from October 20 to 22, 2026.
