More than 175 healthcare organisations are presenting developments in artificial intelligence, genetic testing, and medical technologies at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026, which opened on Tuesday at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Gulf News reported.
Organised by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the three-day event runs until October 22 under the theme 'To Sense is to Predict'. The summit convenes healthcare experts, researchers, government officials, and investors to focus on how technology and medical data can help clinicians identify health risks earlier and intervene before conditions worsen.
Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, attended the summit opening. During an exhibition tour, he reviewed AI-powered medical tools, advanced diagnostic systems, genetic testing, and personalised treatments, noting the importance of scientific research, health data, and international collaboration in expanding access to new medical technologies.
Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, stated that the emirate is advancing a healthcare model centred on disease prevention rather than reactive treatment. The summit aims to connect researchers, healthcare providers, and investors to translate clinical discoveries into applications for hospitals and clinics.
