Foreign property investors holding a real estate owner visa in Abu Dhabi are permitted to sponsor three categories of relatives for residency, according to official guidance published on the emirate's website and reported by Legit.ng.

Under the guidelines confirmed by the Abu Dhabi government, eligible real estate owner visa holders can sponsor their spouse, parents, and children.

The sponsorship regulations set specific age parameters for children. Male children are covered up to the age of 25, whereas unmarried daughters are exempt from any upper age restriction under the programme.

Additionally, the rules provide that children of determination—the UAE's official term for individuals with special needs or disabilities—qualify to receive a residence permit under the investor's sponsorship regardless of their age.
