His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received delegates from the 2026 Chinese Language and Cultural Exchange programmes on October 29, 2026, according to Sharjah 24.

The exchange initiatives included 32 students and institutional professionals from Ras Al Khaimah who completed programs in Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Sheikh Saud stated that fostering linguistic and cultural proficiency serves as an economic imperative in light of expanding bilateral trade and corporate ties with China.

The delegations were supported by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research with the objective of building professional capacity for upcoming Sino-Emirati commercial initiatives.
