Two Chinese police officers have highlighted the practical experience, technology, and international networking gained during the Policing Innovation and International Leadership (PIL) Diploma, Emirates 24|7 reported. The specialised programme was organised by Dubai Police in collaboration with Rabdan Academy, drawing law enforcement participants from around the world.

The participating officers were Police Superintendent Class 1 Wang Ji Rong from the People's Public Security University of China and First Class Police Officer Zhou Xumin from the Yangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau in Jiangsu Province. Both officers commended Dubai Police's approach of integrating advanced technology and forward-looking methods into policing practices.

According to the report, the programme included practical components such as drone operations, riot control, and SWAT training. The participants engaged in bilateral knowledge sharing, with Wang contributing expertise on artificial intelligence in policing and police education, while Zhou presented China's community policing models and an initiative integrating traffic signal systems with drone hangars for incident response.

Both officers emphasised that the future of policing will increasingly rely on cross-border cooperation. Zhou noted that international collaboration has become particularly critical to address transnational crimes such as cybercrime, drug trafficking, and terrorism.
