Digital asset investment firm 3iQ Corp. announced on October 12, 2026, that its UAE-based entity, 3iQ Middle East Ltd, has received In-Principle Approval for a Category 4 license from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

The Category 4 regulatory framework permits the entity to provide investment advisory services and arrange non-discretionary investment transactions. The firm noted that full operational authorization will depend on fulfilling the remaining regulatory conditions stipulated by the FSRA.

The approval follows a strategic partnership between 3iQ and Further, a UAE-based digital asset investment manager. The collaboration provides institutional investors access to digital assets via 3iQ's Managed Account Platform (QMAP), an infrastructure that previously attracted $100 million in sovereign-linked seed capital.

Pascal St-Jean, CEO of 3iQ and Coincheck Group, stated that the group is focused on establishing a regulated operational base in the UAE starting with ADGM. ADGM Chief Market Development Officer Arvind Ramamurthy stated that the authority will support 3iQ as the firm works through the concluding phases of the licensing process.
