Zeekr Begins First Large-Scale Overseas Shipment of Flagship 9X SUV to UAE

Chinese premium electric mobility brand Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely Auto Group, has launched its first large-scale overseas shipment of the 9X flagship hybrid SUV, sending vehicles to the United Arab Emirates, according to The EV Report.

The shipment departed from the Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port. Zeekr stated that the 9X is the first vehicle equipped with its SEA-Super Electric Hybrid (SEP) technology. In the UAE, the vehicle is priced above RMB 800,000 (approximately $119,300), while pricing in European markets approaches RMB 1 million (approximately $149,100).

A customized version developed with luxury modifier Mansory is priced above RMB 2.7 million (approximately $402,600) overseas, which Zeekr identifies as the most expensive Chinese vehicle in international markets. In China, the company noted that the 9X has held a leading position among large SUVs priced above RMB 500,000 in sales, customer recognition, and residual value.

Zeekr reported that it ranked first among China's premium automotive brands in overseas exports from January through August 2026. Following the initial rollout to the UAE, the automaker plans to accelerate 9X distribution across the wider Middle East, Central Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The brand currently operates across more than 60 countries and regions with nearly 800 stores worldwide.
