Spintec Secures Commercial Gaming Vendor Licences in UAE and Ontario

Slovenia-based electronic table game supplier Spintec has secured a federal gaming-related vendor licence from the UAE General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). The company also completed supplier licensing with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in Canada in partnership with distributor Bet Rite. The UAE approval permits Spintec to supply electronic gaming equipment and technology to GCGRA-licensed commercial operators.

Electronic casino table game developer Spintec d.o.o. has obtained two regulatory vendor licences in the United Arab Emirates and Ontario, Canada, following what the company described as rigorous application procedures.

In the UAE, the federal General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) awarded Spintec a federal gaming-related vendor licence. The licence grants the company the right to establish vendor relationships with commercial gaming operators licensed by the federal authority. The authorisation focuses strictly on supplying gaming technology and equipment and does not allow Spintec to operate casino facilities or offer gambling directly to consumers.

Spintec's Chief Commercial Officer, Goran Sovilj, stated that the UAE licence positions the company among the early approved electronic gaming machine vendors entering the market. The licensing coincides with the UAE's preparations for its first casino-integrated resort, the US$5.7 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, scheduled to open in September 2027.

In Canada, Spintec obtained a gaming-related supplier licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The licensing process was conducted in collaboration with Canadian partner Bet Rite following a distribution agreement signed between the two companies in February 2026.
