Hisense Middle East has received the Dubai Chamber ESG Label, an official recognition issued by the Dubai Chamber's Centre for Responsible Business, according to a press statement released on October 20, 2026. The label is designed to recognize companies that demonstrate measurable performance in environmental, social, and governance standards and show a commitment to ongoing improvement.
According to the announcement, the award serves as an independent validation of how Hisense is embedding ESG principles across its commercial operations in the United Arab Emirates, which the company identifies as a key regional market. Globally, Hisense is implementing initiatives that include zero-carbon manufacturing facilities, expanding green factories, adopting low-carbon technical standards, and executing emissions reduction programs.
Jason Ou, President of Hisense MEA and India, stated that the label reflects the company's commitment to operating responsibly, creating long-term value in the UAE, and aligning innovation with sustainable business practices.
The company stated that alongside environmental metrics, the label assessment covers regional corporate governance standards, ethical business conduct, employee wellbeing, and responsible corporate practices.
