Zeekr Ships First Batch of Flagship 9X SUVs to UAE

Chinese EV brand Zeekr has dispatched its first large-scale overseas shipment of the 9X hybrid SUV to the UAE from Fuzhou Port. The flagship model is priced above RMB 800,000 for the Emirates market as part of the company's global expansion.

Chinese premium new-energy vehicle brand Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely Auto Group, dispatched its first large-scale overseas shipment of the 9X flagship hybrid SUV to the UAE on September 26, 2026. The shipment departed from the Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port as part of the manufacturer's international rollout strategy.

According to the brand, the flagship model is priced above RMB 800,000 for the United Arab Emirates market. The vehicle incorporates an advanced hybrid powertrain designed for extended driving range and luxury mobility.

The delivery represents an ongoing move by Chinese luxury automotive manufacturers to expand their direct commercial distribution across the UAE and the broader Gulf region.

China Securities Opens Regional Office in Dubai International Financial Centre

Beijing-headquartered investment bank China Securities has received licensing from the DIFC Authority and authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to establish a regional presence in Dubai. The new hub is designed to serve Middle Eastern clients and strengthen capital market connectivity between China and the UAE. China Securities joins a growing cluster of major Chinese financial institutions operating out of the financial free zone.
