The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) presented its latest labour regulatory developments at the second Doha Dialogue on October 9, 2026.

Ministry officials detailed regulatory enforcement measures regarding worker rights, skill forecasting frameworks, and the implementation of automated monitoring systems across the labour market.

According to official figures presented at the event, the UAE's private-sector workforce grew by more than 101 percent over the past five years. Concurrently, the total number of registered commercial companies operating in the UAE increased by approximately 46 percent over the same timeframe.
