UAE petrol prices will rise for a third consecutive month in October 2026 as global oil prices stay elevated amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding a potential US-Iran truce, The National reported.
The cost of Super 98 petrol will increase by 15.7 per cent to Dh4.40 a litre, up from Dh3.80 in September. Special 95 petrol will rise by nearly 16 per cent to Dh4.28 a litre, compared to Dh3.69 previously. E-Plus 91 will see a 16.6 per cent increase to Dh4.21 a litre from Dh3.61.
Diesel prices will also advance by 11.6 per cent to Dh4.80 a litre, up from Dh4.30 in September. According to the report, domestic fuel prices are approximately 80 per cent higher compared to February 2026 levels before the conflict began.
The UAE has tied domestic fuel rates to international oil markets since introducing deregulation in 2015. Crude benchmarks climbed during September, with Brent approaching $110 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate topping $105 per barrel amid renewed military offensives and tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.
