UAE Outlines Entry Requirements and Fees for Study and Training Visas

The United Arab Emirates has set out the conditions, timelines, and costs governing its study, training, and qualification visa, according to a report by Legit.ng. The visa category is tailored for individuals planning to enrol in licensed universities, institutes, or research entities located across the country.

To meet eligibility criteria, applicants are required to possess a passport that remains valid for at least six months at the time of application. Furthermore, Legit.ng noted that the entry permit is strictly tied to UAE-licensed academic and research bodies, requiring the host institution to hold official accreditation and recognition from relevant UAE authorities.

Under the entry rules, successful applicants receive an entry permit valid for 60 days to travel to the UAE. If the holder fails to enter the country within that 60-day window, the permit lapses, though validity may be extended for a similar period subject to applicable regulatory procedures.

The total cost to process the visa amounts to 300 AED, divided into three separate components. These include an application fee of 100 AED, a visit visa issuance fee of 100 AED, and smart service fees of 100 AED.
