The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) reported that artificial intelligence has become fully integrated into national labour services and work permit workflows, according to Gulf News.

AI-enabled document processing systems reduced work permit review times from approximately 10 minutes to less than one minute, processing more than 11 million transactions automatically. Additionally, an automated quota determination system allows businesses to secure employee work-permit allocations instantly rather than waiting up to 10 days.

Inspection authorities also completed approximately 212,000 targeted field visits guided by predictive algorithms and risk-scoring models. The ministry noted that these digital reforms are implemented under the UAE's Zero Bureaucracy Programme while complying with regulatory and data privacy standards.
