A $1 million global entrepreneurship initiative titled '100 Dreams' has been launched ahead of the fifth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, Gulf News reported. The programme will support 100 creators and aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide who aim to establish creator-led ventures, production houses, and digital media platforms in the UAE.

Organised by the 1 Billion Followers Summit in collaboration with creator and Dream Group founder Simon Squibb, the initiative is supported by the UAE National Media Authority. The wider summit is organised by the UAE Government Media Office and is scheduled to convene in Dubai from January 8 to 10, 2027, under the theme 'Content for Good'.

Each of the 100 selected founders will receive $10,000 in funding, practical assistance with UAE trade licensing, guidance for Golden Visa applications subject to government approval, and a trip to Dubai to attend the summit. Participants will also enter a six-week post-summit business accelerator covering digital media, business development, and marketing.

According to the announcement, the programme is open to applicants worldwide aged 18 and older, with online registration opening on November 20 via the Joindream platform. Selected projects will be showcased during the summit, where capital distribution will commence.
