The United Arab Emirates has issued a formal invitation to Chinese enterprises to explore manufacturing partnerships and investment opportunities, Technical Review Middle East reported. The outreach forms part of the UAE's ongoing transition toward a diversified, knowledge-based economy supported by international industrial and technological collaboration.
According to the report, government officials underscored that the country's business environment, logistics networks, and regulatory framework provide a launchpad for international corporations to scale operations across regional and global markets.
Identified priority sectors for bilateral industrial partnerships and joint ventures include advanced manufacturing and digital automation, clean energy transition and smart grid infrastructure, artificial intelligence and cloud computing integration, and healthcare and life sciences research and development. Policymakers stated that these initiatives aim to deepen supply chain integration and enhance mutual economic resilience.
The report highlighted several competitive operational enablers available to incoming firms, including allowances for 100 percent foreign ownership, streamlined corporate tax structures, and special free zones. It also cited nationwide initiatives, such as the National In-Country Value (ICV) programme, that direct capital into domestic supply chains.
