The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced that private-sector establishments violating fake Emiratisation regulations declined by 34.5 percent in 2025, according to a report by Gulf News.

Official ministry data showed that the total number of non-compliant companies penalized under enforcement measures fell from 1,037 in 2024 to 679 in 2025, marking an overall decrease of 358 entities.

Sanctions against non-compliant businesses are carried out under Cabinet Resolution No. 43 of 2025, which governs penalties associated with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.

MoHRE attributed the reduction in violations to enhanced field inspection operations, automated digital tracking, and the deployment of data analytics to identify irregular employment setups.

The ministry stated that legal enforcement will persist against companies attempting to evade localization mandates or manipulate state employment incentive programs.
