The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) expanded its Wages Protection System (WPS) network by onboarding seven new financial institutions to broaden payment channels for private employers, Arabian Business reported.

The newly integrated financial entities include First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates NBD, Mashreq, Dubai Islamic Bank, Lari Exchange, Ajman Bank, and First Gulf Exchange Centre.

Under the system overhaul, all administrative steps and compliance validations have moved entirely to digital channels. Physical documentation requirements for salary file registration have been completely eliminated to reduce administrative friction.

MoHRE noted that automated integration cuts repetitive manual data entry for human resources and payroll departments while safeguarding wage security across the UAE workforce.
