The United Arab Emirates is expanding its economic diplomacy with China toward advanced technology, clean power, and smart mobility, according to The Economic Times.

The push follows a five-day mission led by Undersecretary Eng. Sharif Al Olama, during which UAE officials and state-backed investors evaluated deployable industrial solutions. The delegation brought together policymakers, sovereign wealth allocators, and infrastructure operators from Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and AD Ports Group.

Discussions with Chinese industrial groups focused on battery storage systems, electric vehicles, and automated port logistics. The initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi's strategy to position the UAE as a regional test bed for advanced Asian industrial systems while attracting private capital.
