UK-founded AI transformation firm Nextgen has officially relocated its global headquarters to Dubai, according to Technical Review Middle East. The relocation coincides with a regional shift across the United Arab Emirates from preliminary AI testing to full-scale operational enterprise deployment.
The headquarters move follows new survey data published by Strand Partners, developed in partnership with the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The research found that 72% of businesses operating in the UAE have adopted AI, marking a rise from 53% the previous year and representing year-on-year growth of roughly 36%.
Among the UAE organisations currently using AI, 85% reported that the technology has directly accelerated their broader corporate transformation. Additionally, approximately 31% of AI-adopting companies in the country are deploying advanced applications.
Technical Review Middle East reported that Nextgen operates across regulated sectors, working with government entities and large corporations. The company employs a platform- and model-agnostic approach across global AI platforms rather than relying on a single proprietary platform.
