A regulatory advisory has detailed qualification criteria for the UAE's 10-year Golden Visa for company investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Under the stated rules, business partners and corporate investors must maintain a qualifying investment of at least Dh2 million, alongside active trade licensing and UAE corporate tax registration. Eligibility can be confirmed by commercial banks through Dh2 million fixed deposits or local sukuk instruments, whereas authorities confirmed that standalone holdings strictly in digital or cryptocurrency assets do not qualify.
Simultaneously, Dubai is hosting more than 500 international asset managers, policymakers, and private equity leaders at the SuperReturn Middle East conference from 13 to 15 October 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The forum, which includes the Global Leaders Series hosted by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), focuses on sovereign wealth deployment, private credit, and investment corridors connecting Dubai and Asian markets.
In related policy updates, the UAE Cabinet approved a three-year federal budget of Dh292.5 billion for 2027–2029, with 2027 spending set at Dh90.1 billion. Additionally, Cabinet Resolution No. 136 of 2026 established operational mandates requiring commercial entities with Dh50 million or more in annual gross turnover to submit audited financial statements, while smaller firms must maintain digital accounting records for at least five years, supported by a 180-day grace period ending on 30 March 2027.
