AerCap Holdings N.V. announced that it has signed lease agreements with Turkish Airlines for two Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighters, with deliveries scheduled between March and September 2027.

The passenger-to-freighter conversion work will be conducted at Etihad Engineering's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. AerCap stated that the dedicated Abu Dhabi facility serves as a regional conversion base to support cargo operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

AerCap Chief Commercial Officer Peter Anderson noted that the aircraft will expand Turkish Airlines' cargo capacity. Turkish Airlines currently operates a cargo fleet that includes 12 Boeing 777Fs.

Following its first delivery of the Boeing 777-300ERSF to launch customer Kalitta Air in September 2025, AerCap has delivered aircraft to Fly Meta and entered lease agreements for the model with Ethiopian Airlines and China Southern Group. The financial terms, lease length, and specific aircraft serial numbers were not disclosed.
