The XI International Industrial and Energy Forum (TNF 2026) took place in Tyumen from September 14 to 17, 2026, operating for the first time with full international status, according to a report published by Fresh Angle citing Russia's Pivot To Asia. Hosted at the Tyumen Technopark under the theme “Oil and Gas Industry of the Future: Energy of Leadership,” the forum served as a direct commercial platform connecting domestic producers, equipment manufacturers, and overseas energy partners.
The event drew more than 18,000 participants from over 60 Russian regions, with senior executives from the fuel and energy complex and related sectors accounting for roughly 80% of attendees. Domestic participants included Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, NOVATEK, and Surgutneftegaz. International participation featured entities and delegations from China, the UAE's ADNOC, Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas and QazaqGaz, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
According to the report, the four-day gathering generated more than 50 signed cooperation agreements, over 200 technology launches, and more than 200 business meetings. This marked an increase from the 2025 forum, which recorded approximately 15,000 participants, 1,500 companies, and three foreign delegations from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the UAE.
Discussions at the forum also addressed Russia's energy supply dynamics and equipment localization. The domestic oil and gas equipment localization rate reached approximately 80% by the end of 2025, with an established target of 90% by 2030. Russian oil production including condensate is projected at approximately 511 million tonnes in 2026, with baseline ministry projections indicating 516 million tonnes in 2027.
