Expo Centre Sharjah is gearing up to host SteelFab 2027, bringing together international manufacturers, investors, technology providers, and industrial decision-makers, according to Technical Review Middle East. The event is positioned to connect industrial capability with commercial demand across the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the wider Middle East and North Africa.
The upcoming edition builds on the digital framework introduced during the 2026 exhibition, which integrated AI-driven trade show platforms. A key element of this model is AetherEx, a proprietary digital twin platform designed to extend exhibitor market reach beyond the physical event through interactive virtual pavilions and real-time dashboards that analyse buyer behaviour and visitor sentiment.
Alongside digital tools, the exhibition will feature heavy machinery, smart fabrication systems, and metalworking technologies. The regional steel fabrication and metalworking sectors continue to see modernisation driven by regional infrastructure works, energy projects, and targeted national industrial strategies.
His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that SteelFab 2027 will reinforce its role as an industrial gateway connecting global expertise with regional opportunities. He added that the exhibition directly supports Sharjah's economic development, business tourism, and the UAE's industrial objectives by fostering high-value investment and integrating local manufacturers into international supply chains.
