Robinhood Markets has obtained regulatory authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to launch its retail investing platform across the Middle East from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), according to announcements reported by financial media. The company has targeted 2027 for the commercial rollout of its regional product suite.
The authorization permits Robinhood to provide both arranging and custody services across all 10 DFSA-approved asset classes. These categories encompass equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and investment tokens.
The regional operations will be headquartered within the DIFC through Robinhood MENA Limited and led by Salah Kaddoura, who serves as senior executive officer and president of the MENA entity.
DIFC Authority Chief Executive Officer Arif Amiri stated that the platform's entry highlights Dubai's position as a hub for financial innovation and reflects demand for technology-driven investment tools across the Middle East.
