UAE Suspends All Iranian Airline Flights Until Further Notice Following US Sanctions
The United Arab Emirates has suspended all flights operated by Iranian carriers to and from the country effective Thursday, September 24. The General Civil Aviation Authority stated the measure complies with US sanctions targeting Iranian airlines operating at international airports. The halt follows US warnings that providers offering landing or refueling services to Iranian carriers face exclusion from the dollar system.
