UAE Human Rights Body Urges Rights Integration Across Climate Tech Lifecycle
The UAE National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) has recommended incorporating human rights and environmental assessments across all stages of climate technology development. Submitted to the UN Special Rapporteur on Climate Change, the report emphasizes worker protections, community participation, and data privacy. It also stresses that low-carbon technology decisions must be grounded in science and support a just economic transition.
