UAE, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan Sign Railway MoU for Central Asia–South Asia Corridor
The UAE, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding to cooperate on the Central Asia–South Asia railway project. Signed in Astana during an official visit led by UAE Energy and Infrastructure Minister Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the agreement initiates technical and economic feasibility assessments. The three countries also plan to discuss establishing a joint working group to coordinate technical, financial, and implementation mechanisms for the cross-border route.
