Beijing-headquartered China Securities has established a regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre. The firm received an operating licence from the DIFC Authority and authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority. It will cover equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services.
The United Arab Emirates continues to attract migrating ultra-wealthy individuals, family offices, and institutional capital despite regional geopolitical tensions, according to private banking executives cited by The National and UA.NEWS. Wealth managers attribute this sustained inflow to structural advantages including zero personal income tax, long-term residency visas, and dedicated family office frameworks in DIFC and ADGM. Major international banks including HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, and DBS Bank are expanding their wealth management teams across the country to accommodate rising demand.
Eversheds Sutherland has been named an Approved Certification Body under DIFC Regulation 10. The designation allows the firm's Konexo arm to conduct AI readiness audits and issue compliance certifications in the free zone.
