ADFW 2026 Announces Program Featuring Dedicated China-UAE Investment Dialogues

Abu Dhabi Global Market has announced the agenda and initial speaker lineup for Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026 under the theme 'The Capital Community, Powered by Partnerships'. The event expands its international schedule to 75 sessions across eight stages, including bilateral dialogues dedicated to China. These forums aim to facilitate cross-border capital flows and strengthen institutional investment partnerships between the UAE and China.

Alibaba Cloud to Expand Data Centre Presence in UAE and Globally

Alibaba Cloud announced plans to expand its data centre footprint in the UAE, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Germany, and France over the next 12 months. The expansion supports the company's target of exceeding 20 gigawatts of international capacity by 2032 to meet artificial intelligence computing demand. Alibaba Cloud also introduced three international enterprise AI suites and revealed partnerships with several corporate clients.

Abu Dhabi Launches Inaugural Healthcare and Life Sciences Mission to China

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has launched its first health and life sciences mission to China from September 21 to 30, 2026. The UAE delegation is touring Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing to establish commercial and scientific partnerships in AI, medical robotics, and precision oncology. Participating entities include PureHealth, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and MBZUAI.
