Fintech company Network International and Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) have widened their merchant lending referral agreement in the UAE beyond existing point-of-sale (POS) loans.
Under the expanded arrangement, eligible UAE-based merchants and small and medium-sized enterprises can access commercial property financing to purchase their own business premises, as well as short-term working capital loans that do not require collateral.
The initiative also extends financing eligibility to smaller and relatively newer businesses across the UAE, integrating property and working capital credit lines into a unified merchant offering alongside Network International's existing POS lending referral channel.
Görkem Köseoğlu, Group Chief Customer and AI Officer at Network International, stated that the expanded partnership with CBD provides merchants with practical routes to manage liquidity, invest in long-term assets, and scale through Network's merchant ecosystem and banking relationships.
CBD indicated that the collaboration builds on its SME support infrastructure, including its digital services such as iBusiness and UP by CBD, enabling the bank to connect directly with merchants within their existing commercial workflows.
