Jeddah Airports Company commenced the phased launch of passenger operations at King Abdulaziz International Airport's new Terminal 4 on September 27, 2026. The phased relocation began with Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir on September 27, followed by Fly Jinnah and Nesma Airlines on September 28.
According to the airport operator, additional airlines are scheduled to shift operations sequentially. Akasa Air will relocate on September 29, SyrianAir and Pegasus on October 1, and Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair on October 3.
The 97,000-square-meter facility is built to handle 15 million passengers annually and includes dedicated group check-in areas for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. King Abdulaziz International Airport previously recorded 53.4 million passengers in 2025.
