Dubai Municipality and Future Foundation Partner on Construction Regulation Sandbox

Dubai Municipality hosted its inaugural 'Future of Construction Legathon' on 24 September at Emirates Towers to tackle regulatory challenges surrounding emerging building technologies. During the event, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Future Foundation signed a cooperation agreement under Sandbox Dubai. The partnership will pilot experimental use cases initially focused on the Smart Built Environment sandbox group.

Invest in Sharjah CEO Outlines Strategy for FDI, AI and Economic Diversification

Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah, discussed the emirate's strategic focus on foreign direct investment, artificial intelligence integration, and economic diversification. The emirate recorded 142 FDI projects valued at AED 7.74 billion in 2025, creating 5,673 jobs, with approximately 75 percent already operational. Invest in Sharjah is directing capital into high-growth sectors including technology, advanced manufacturing, and logistics while expanding partnerships in Asian and global markets.
