GCC Industrial Committee Endorses Participation in Eighth China-Arab States Expo

The 57th GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee convened in Manama to discuss regional industrial integration and supply chain connectivity. During the meeting, member states endorsed the GCC General Secretariat's participation in the eighth China-Arab States Expo scheduled for August 2027. Delegates also highlighted the importance of strengthening manufacturing and supply chain linkages between Gulf economies and China.

The 57th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Industrial Cooperation Committee was held in Manama, Bahrain, to review strategic pathways to advance industrial integration and strengthen cross-border supply chains among member states, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Prince Sultan bin Khalid bin Faisal, CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, led the Saudi delegation on behalf of Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.

During the session, the committee formally endorsed the participation of the GCC General Secretariat in the eighth China-Arab States Expo, which is scheduled to take place in August 2027.

Member delegations also reaffirmed the importance of deepening manufacturing and industrial supply linkages between Gulf economies and China.
