A batch of ZEEKR 9X vehicles set sail from Fuzhou Port for the United Arab Emirates on September 22, marking the first large-scale export of the Chinese automaker's flagship SUV to the country, according to a report published by the Fujian Provincial People's Government.
The report stated that ZEEKR ranked first among Chinese premium vehicle brands in exports from January through August, with the 9X model securing more than 700 orders in the UAE. In China, the vehicle ranked near the top in three-year resale value and net promoter score among large SUVs priced between 500,000 yuan ($70,000) and 1 million yuan.
In international pricing, the 9X costs close to 1 million yuan in Europe, while an overseas customized edition developed with Mansory is priced above 2.7 million yuan. Other models in ZEEKR's portfolio have also expanded abroad; the ZEEKR 009 led China's market for electric MPVs priced above 400,000 yuan for four consecutive months and ranked first by sales in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia from January through August, while the ZEEKR 7X exceeded 200,000 cumulative deliveries globally.
ZEEKR currently operates in more than 60 countries and regions with nearly 800 retail stores, with plans to introduce the 9X to additional markets across the Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Domestically, the Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port has handled 68,000 exported vehicles this year—a 28-fold year-on-year increase—and expects total vehicle export volume to reach 100,000 units by the end of 2026.
