Dubai Delegation of 100+ Officials and Executives to Visit Shenzhen in October

Over 100 senior government officials and corporate executives from Dubai will convene in Shenzhen on October 14 for the fifth Dubai Business Forum. Led by Dubai Chambers Chairman Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, the delegation aims to align bilateral opportunities around Dubai's D33 Economic Agenda, cross-border investment, and artificial intelligence. Official bilateral non-oil trade between the UAE and China reached AED 180.7 billion in the first half of 2026.

More than 100 high-level representatives from Dubai's government and private sectors are scheduled to visit Shenzhen on October 14 to participate in the Dubai Business Forum China, according to 36Kr. The delegation will be led by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, marking an expansion in scale compared to the forum's inaugural China edition held in Beijing in 2024. Supporting partners for the event include the Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce (CCOIC Shenzhen) and the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce (CCOIC Guangzhou).

The visiting Dubai delegation encompasses key public entities and commercial enterprises, including Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Economic Development Corporation, DP World, the Dubai Land Department, Dubai Airport Freezone, Emirates Airline, noon, Spinneys, and prominent investment institutions. Participants predominantly consist of founders, chairpersons, chief executives, and senior corporate decision-makers.

Discussions will centre on Dubai's D33 Economic Agenda alongside emerging digital economy opportunities such as artificial intelligence, cross-border capital investment, and supply chain trade. Dubai Chambers President and CEO Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah is scheduled to introduce a two-year AI transformation strategy focused on agentic AI to enhance private-sector productivity. Dubai Chambers and participating delegation entities are also slated to sign memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Chinese counterparts during the event.

The forum takes place amid expanding bilateral trade ties. Official data reported by the source shows UAE non-oil foreign trade reached AED 1.937 trillion in the first half of 2026, reflecting a 13.1% year-on-year increase. China retained its position as the UAE's largest non-oil trading partner, with bilateral non-oil trade totaling AED 180.7 billion over the same period.
