Dubai Customs has announced an extension of the customs duty suspension period on eligible declarations by an additional 60 days, according to Gulf News. The measure increases the total allowable suspension period to 180 days.

The extension applies specifically to duty suspension arrangements that are scheduled to expire between 27 February 2026 and 31 October 2026. Qualifying declarations include goods intended for re-export, temporary admission, and all transit merchandise categories.

The trade facilitation initiative is intended to ease cash-flow pressure and lower operational costs for commercial entities operating within the emirate.
