Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) confirmed on Monday that Beijing-headquartered China Securities has secured a licence from the DIFC Authority to establish its regional office in Dubai, official media reported. The publicly listed Chinese investment bank has also received regulatory authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the independent regulator for the financial centre.

The Dubai office will function as a strategic platform supporting China Securities' engagement with clients, institutional investors, and financial entities across the Middle East. According to DIFC, the firm operates across equity and debt capital markets, investment banking, asset management, and institutional services.

DIFC noted that the move marks the culmination of sustained dialogue aimed at supporting the bank's international expansion strategy and introducing regional market opportunities. The establishment reinforces Dubai's role as a primary bridge for two-way investment flows between Asia and the Middle East.

With this office, China Securities joins several leading Chinese financial entities already established in DIFC, including Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, China International Capital Corporation, China Merchants Bank International, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. DIFC noted that China's five largest banks collectively represent more than 30 percent of total assets in the centre's banking and capital markets segment.
